Dear visitor!

I am sure you have seen refugees in Europe, especially on the news, if not in real life.

Me and a few friends of mine went to Hungary almost a year ago, when all the help was needed and people were living around the main train station in Budapest. We saw some really shocking things there, the things you can only partially see through the media, but not REALLY see until you get up and go out there. This is what we saw and that was the point we decided to do something. Since then, we have been doing smaller volunteer-jobs, mainly in Austria, but sometimes in Germany too.

Last year (a couple weeks ago) we decided to revisit Hungary again, but this time on our own, and help them directly. We based this plan on the news we read about the camp in Roszke (it is on the Serbian border) and how they are living and treated there, even in the winter. We searched for articles and videos, and found some hard evidence on how cruel it is for them to live there, and finally decided to go through with it. The video I posted is showing some really tough stuff, but we got motivated.

So now we just wait and see if we will succeed, and of course we started collecting some things we want to donate (clothes, toys, towels, etc...), but we really want to collect some money, buy more things with it and just drive there and give it to them. We heard that the guards do not really like having anyone (volunteers, journalists) around, but if we go in private, we don't see why they should decline.

If you think our plan is meant to succeed, we welcome the help, and are really happy and excited about doing it, because even if it is just a one-time travel, we think we can make a small difference.

(All the pictures used are real and from Roszke, the camp we plan to go to)

So THANK YOU to everyone donating to our little cause.
