One Year Before We Have To Move

We have been renting a house for the past 14 years but this January we were told that we need to vacate the place by January 2025. We are lucky in that we inherited a house from my mother-in-law. But of course, there are problems, the house is far too small, just two bedrooms and we are a family of five! Also, the house needs a lot of work to make it liveable, the waste tank for the toilet needs to be replaced, most of the guttering will need replacing, the bathroom floor has come up and the tiles are sharp. There is no insulating, heating, or air conditioning. I don't think the kitchen has been cleaned in years as there is black mold growing on the sink and work surfaces. My kids are adults and are helping as much as possible but there are some jobs that we need to hire people for. We have no family here to help out and being a single parent for the past 11 years means that I have had to support my kids until they could get jobs so I have no savings left. I would be grateful for anu help at all!!!
