Campaign Story
Before the pandemic, Glenn was in tip-top shape. He worked as a Human Resource consultant, played tennis every other week, and was overall enjoying life. Now, at the height of the Omicron surge, he was reduced to a shell of who he was.
His multi-disciplinary team found that he has end-stage kidney disease, causing a multitude of symptoms such as difficulty breathing, frequent urination, high blood pressure, and abnormal creatinine levels. Also, being advanced in age at 72, his memory isn't the best as it was anymore.
To top it off, he was tested positive for COVID-19.
He needs help in terms of his expenses, as his current savings and pension wouldn't be able to cover his hospitalisation, as well as what comes after. His nephrologist proposed that he had hemodialysis, while his pulmonologist already suggested palliative care at home.
We hope that you find it in your hearts to help him during this trying time.
You can route your donations through his daughter, Patricia S. Uy
