The idea of Society Kitchen "The Other Human" Free Food For All is an action of solidarity and a manifestation of love towards all people, with the hope to awaken consciousness and for there to be other similar actions from others and from groups.

These actions are not philanthropic or charity.

We cook "live", we eat together and we live together.

A lunch with our fellowman on the street.

The very day we started in 2011 with the project of the Social Kitchen "The Other Human" we said that it would go on for as long as there would be people supporting it. We are NOT a M.G.O. we don't accept money from goverments, political parts, Europian subsidies or multinational companies.

Honouring this decision, it is my sad duty to announce that the activities of the Social House "The Other Human" will cease, since expenses are higher every day that passes. We are aware of the situation and consequently we must stop its operation and even vacate the premises.

With your help, we can continue to take action in other smaller venues, but we need money to set up and be able to pay for their operating costs over the next months. "

During these four years, the House of the Other Human, maintained by all of you with your effort and your donations of food and money, has managed to welcome over 10,000 people who popped in for a coffee, to eat breakfast, to have a bath or a shower or to wash their clothes; we have supplied enough food for a month to more than 6,000 families; every year we have provided 300 children with everything they needed to attend school, from their schoolbags to their pencils. Twice a week we taught remedial lessons to children who needed them. We created a theatre group and during the height of the refugee crisis (2015 and 2016) we served over 3,000 meals almost daily.

We will continue cooking in the streets and with your help we can start a new Social House for "The Other Human" .
