Numerical Weather Prediction Project

  My project consists in a complex software ( WRF-ARW model ) that tries to numerically compute future weather development. This project is also my master degree project, but it will go on for years after my master degree exam.

        My goal is to bring improvements in numeral weather predictions, improvements that includes people safety, more accurate weather hazards prediction and a portal in witch other people can check the forecasts, learn more about weather prediction and download data.

        Currently, I am limited by my actual server configuration (an old Dual Core CPU, 40 GB HDD and 1 GB of RAM) and I came to this website, hoping that I will acquire some money to buy a more performant server witch will be helpful for my future project development (long range predictions, higher spatial resolutions, storage space for data and archives and of course numerical processing speed).

        When the project will be finished, it will have a great portal in witch students can access and download data for learning and developing own projects.
