Nose Cancer Fund Raising for Lulay

Update posted by Lovely Lozano On Apr 10, 2018

The Radio Oncologist (cancer expert) informed Lulay that the fast growing cancer on her face was already on its 4th stage A. Therefore, immediate Radio and Chemotheraphy were needed in order to stop the tumor from reaching her brain.
According to the Oncologist, it’s best for Lulay to go back to Nueve Ecija and continue her medication there, for Philippine General Hospital is a public hospital which cannot provide immediate chemotherapy for her. But the Oncologist recommended a private hospital in Nueva Ecija which she can transfer in.
By this time, Lulay is still waiting for the result of her laboratory tests which will serve as the basis on when she can start her Radio and Chemotherapy.
Meanwhile, her baby is still in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. He is still in dextrose though the oxygen was already removed.
We are grateful for those people who continue to support Lulay through her battle. Especially for those who give spiritual and financial assistance. Please continue to pray for her health. May God bless us all! Remember GOD is our greatest healer!

March 16, 2018, the doctors decided to schedule Lulay for an operation to deliver her eight-month-old baby boy under Cesarian section. The baby was delivered at 1:30 PM and Lulay was moved to the OB Ward.

At this moment, the baby is currently in dextrose and oxygen for his lung is still weak. Heartbroken and feeling sorry for his baby Lulay is patiently visiting the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit everyday just to see his baby named Lucas. Meanwhile, Lulay was still in the OB Ward where she was recovering from the Cesarian operation. Up to now, there is still no update on her condition. The doctor who is a cancer expert stated that they have to wait for the results of the new CT SCAN and BIOPSY which will come out on March 26. Based on the results, the doctor will decide whether Lulay will go through the operation or chemotherapy. We would like to thank you for your financial support. Also thank you for those people who always include Lulay in their prayers. May God bless us all!

March 13, 2018 at exactly 11:00 PM, Lyra and her family decided to come to Manila to seek help to the expert doctors of Philippine General Hospital. This was made possible with the aid of people who are always willing to help. The family used the city ambulance. March 14, 1:30 AM Lulay and her father patiently waited in queue to be able to see an expert doctor. Starting this day, Lulay’s observation started. She was moved in the observation room wherein no member of her family was allowed to enter. She was not even allowed to use her smart phone to talk to her family. At this point of her life, she felt alone. It started to sink in on her mind what happened to her. She knew she needed to be brave to fight the biggest battle of her life.
