Norma vs Cancer

Norma has been our family house help for 35 years. She devoted most of her life to taking care of us siblings that she was not able to get married and had children of her own. She is very hardworking and the breadwinner of her family in the province until now.

A little over a month, she experienced difficulties in breathing, lack of appetite, and severe coughing that prompted her to be confined in the hospital. After several tests, we found out that aside from the build-up of fluids in her lungs, she also has a big tumor in her right ovary. She has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and will be undergoing several more tests to know if there is metastasis to the lungs. Only then we will know what the treatment plan be, but what we do know is that she has a long battle ahead.

Norma is a strong woman and won’t give up a fight easily. However, with hospital stays and treatment also comes bills. We are knocking on everybody’s hearts.
