Gweng Nyakager Foundation a national non profit organisation registered in Kenya is working to mobilise resources to help set up 14 toilet blocks for the pupils and teachers of Ngulu Kanyango Primary School.

The dignity of the learners and their teachers is at stake. The situation is dire as people flock one dilapidated toilet which is shared with everyone including learners with disabilities. This makes the school at risk of of an outbreak of very preventable diseases.

We believe that if we raise US$17000 we will put in place a secure sanitation for the school.

We are raising funds to build 14 toilet blocks.Six each for girls and boys and two for the teachers of either gender.

This will help improve sanitation in this school and is in line with a global campaign on sanitation and to ensure the school community have dignified toilets for use and also eliminate chances of spreading diseases that can be controlled.

We need US $17000 to set up six toilets for girls, six toilets for boys and two for teachers and non teaching staff. And also to set up a handwashing water dispenser near the ablution block.
