New Wheels For Loui.

This is Loui, 9 year old Parsons Russel who was hit by a car in September 2017, 5 months after we moved to Cyprus. Which left him with a broken spine and a fractured pelvis. He had Surgery to repair his spine, but his spinal cord was severed, leaving him paralysed and double incontinent with a 1-2% chance of ever walking again.

After months of healing and rehabilitation, he got his first set of wheels and gained a new lease on life. We have had some fun adventures together that we would never had again without the wheels. Unfortunately though, now that his spine has stretched out, they are too small for him, and his back arches up putting way too much weight on his front legs, and could end up damaging his spine.

He desperately needs new wheels so that he can go for a walk 'comfortably' again and play in the garden with his fur-brother Storm. He is a real warrior, been through so much, yet still loves life to the Max. Loui turns into Uncle Loui with our foster dogs, and he was inducted into the ELAFI hall of fame this year for his contributions. He is a very special boy, who has taught me a lot.

This time we are going to go with 'Walk in Wheels', as they have more extension on the bars to get it to fit properly.

Once we have raised enough to order the new ones, we would love to donate his current wheels to 'pay it forward' and, to help another family to enjoy their life together again.

If you are interested in them please let me know, they are from 'Eddies Wheels' in America. Will fit a small/medium sized dog.

We need to raise 700eu to get him a new wheelchair, that includes shipping and import taxes.
