Our dog sanctuary in Thailand that currently cares for 95 rescue dogs floods. It is distressing for the dogs and humans every time we have heavy rain and it is also a major health hazard! Flood water brings rats and snakes and many deadly diseases.
We have signed a contract on a new property and have started to build. The boundary wall is complete and the cement slab for the dog runs has been laid. We still need to build dog runs and install an insulated and sound proof roof. Unfortunately building supplies have increased by 40%, which makes it difficult to continue building.
Our new sanctuary is so much better, with more usable space for the dogs. We have a special quarantine area, a treatment room and lots of space to care for sick dogs instead of being admitted to the vet clinic. At the moment have 95 dogs at our sanctuary, 12 dogs at out foster home, 3 dogs in board and train facility and 5 dogs boarding at the vet clinic. By moving to the one place, we will reduce our monthly costs significantly.
In total we care for 250 dogs! 120 of those dogs live on the street and rely on us for food and medical attention.
Can you please help us to finish building our new sanctuary and move within the next month? No amount is too small or large and is very much appreciated. Thanks and much love Tamara x

GIVING TUESDAY is here!We have just one wish! To move all our dogs into our new sanctuary within the next week, but we need your help!Our volunteers Craig and Ross have been smashing through the work and have almost finished 10 dog runs in 5 days. So thankful and amazed.We. . . . .

This makes me so happy. We currently have 10 builders on site, we can't keep up with the supply of materials as they are working so quickly! I hope we can move as soon as possible. Thanks x

Some good news! The new builders started today and are off to a cracking start! Woohoo!BUT, we still need to buy more building supplies and pay labor costs so we need your help again. I need to buy more steel posts tomorrow. The sooner the builders can finish the better.. . . . .

The builder promised a total of 6 workers, but there are only 2! I am not even surprised any more. The progress is very slow, hence why I have no updates to show! This is incredibly frustrating and down right annoying!!Rainy season is starting and all our dogs will be. . . . .
19 days until we need to move

With just 19 days until we need to move to our new sanctuary and the new builder went walkabout yesterday! I found out this morning he will return Wednesday to continue building! That is 4 days lost at this critical time! I am beyond angry and stressed. Had no sleep. . . . .

$840 worth of steel was delivered today!

Thank you! Today I was able to order another 20 000 baht / $840 AUD / $625 USD worth of steel. This should be enough to finish the framework of the dog runs.We still have a long way to go, but now can’t order any more materials until we can
