New beginning for Taal

With the recent calamity suffered by many during the Taal Volcano eruption in Batangas, I am asking for donations to give to those going through this difficult time a hand to continue to help them recover and keep going.

They may look like victims in photos circulating around, but in reality they are doing everything they can to pick up the pieces, protect their loved ones and move forward. As soon as the donated funds are available and released, I want to give them items to help them continue to keep going. I was there earlier, giving out relief goods. An old lady shook my hand carrying a pack of Paracetamol, She says, “You don’t realize how much my family needs this.” This really put things into perspective.

Money raised is not going to a specific charity or company. But it will be spent on items such as food,masks, and other needed essentials to give to an evacuation center to reach the people directly. Any amount given is a welcome investment to the strength and courage of these people. The volcano may have darken the skies but it will never extinguish the power of the human spirit that is in these people.
