Need help with hospital treatment

I came to live in Thailand because my company depleted I made some bad investment decisions and spent the entire savings too soon. Now my only income source is from social security. This income is just about enough to live in Thailand, but not in the United States.

Medicare is not valid in Thailand and personal insurance is too expensive for me. I need funds for hospital expenses for two potential surgeries (an aortic aneurysm surgery and achalasia surgery). I do not have the funds for either. Donating would really help to reach my goal.

Gogetfunding advertises that Facebook and Twitter are good places to start the campaign. I have also advertised on Linkedin, but the response has been less than I expected. I know asking friends and family for money is not easy, even embarrassing, but I am desperate to raise money for medical care
