Campaign Story
YES we did it! We opened the first skate park in the second biggest city in Bulgaria - Plovdiv. So many years of empty promises from the municipality without any results. Finally 6 friends from the BMX, BLADE and SKATE community in Bulgaria decided to collect money and make their dream come true.
We rented a hall of 375 square meters and build some basic ramps, pyramid and a foam pit.
Our mission is to develop the extreme sports in Bulgaria, and to help young talented children to practice their favorite sports 365 days in the year. We train kids in rollerblading, skateboarding and bmx and prepare them for big competitions and maybe for the Olympics one day :) As you know skateboarding is already an Olympic sport and a city like Plovdiv deserves to have it`s SKATE PARK!
A lot of international events and contests are included in our program for 2020.
For being able to finish our project WE BADLY need money for rent and ramps!
Our rent is 12 500 Euros per year.
We build all the ramps by ourselves in order to save all the money for materials and rent.
Skate Park Plovdiv was opened in December 2019, and still exists.
We proved that when you have the will everything is possible!
