I want finally live on my own in an adapted apartment despite of my handicap.

I have rented an apartment but it needs to be fully renovated and adapted.  My family wants to help me and has started with the renovation works, but we have really underestimated the costs. We need still 40 000 Euros or 56 000 USD to fund it.

Any donation that would help me to realize my dream would make you an angel in my eyes. I do not know how long I will still live but the resting years I want to live a fulfilled, happy and free life. I thank you immensely for your kindness and your big heart!

My history:

Shortly after I was born I was diagnosed with a muscle decease which is called the “Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease (CMT)”. They explained me and my family that CMT is about inherited disorders of the peripheral nervous system characterized by progressive loss of muscle tissue and touch sensation across various parts of the body.

I was born in Iran. When I was four years old (during the Iran Iraq war) my father decided to move to Germany to consult the doctors about me and be far away from the war zone. The doctors advised an operation.  After that I was operated 9 more times until I was 15 years old and my growing period was finished. After the last operation I could not walk anymore with my Roller, I had to sit in a wheelchair.  And the doctors told me that I would live up to 35 years.  But I just turned 35 in April 2014.

After both my sisters married and left me, I found myself an Iranian normal husband and went back to Iran.  After 4 years he was really tired of taking care of me, which is why he started to torture me physically and mentally. So I divorced him and came back to Germany near to my eldest sister.

I had to find a place to live and got dependant of the German social system. My living options were not much. Or I had to live in a big building with all other handicapped people (a place nobody would like to live) or an apartment, that I had to share with 3 other handicapped people. I chose the last option.  Today it is 6 years I am living in this place. But my biggest dream is to live on my own in an apartment despite my handicap.
