Nate’s Open Heart Surgery Fund

This is Nate. He is 8 months old and has been through so much in his life so far. He was born 7 weeks premature and has Downs Syndrome. As with many children who have Downs, he has congenital heart defects. He has three holes in his heart that should not be there and needs to be repaired as quickly as possible. He is not a good candidate for catheter repairs and must have open heart surgery. Because of these holes the blood is mixing and causing a lot of pressure in his lungs, which will damage them and makes his surgery immediately necessary. If he does not receive the surgery his life expectancy will be greatly shortened.

You can see in his face that he has a great deal to offer this world. I was blessed with this amazing special boy and want him to have all that life can give to him I am a single mother living here in the Philippines, where life is not easy for a normal healthy person. I am willing to do all that I can for my son, but I need help. The heart surgeon is expensive, as well as the hospital fees.
