=================================
This is Nash Patrick Ibano - fondly called "Nash" by his friends and family.
He is 14yo kid who lives in Sitio Sto Nino, Muntinlupa City.
Nash was once a kid full of life and energy - a normal kid who has big dreams for his future.
He's so much fun to be with - he jokes a lot - truly a funny kid.
He was an athlete. He's a futsal varsity player - an incredible goalkeeper.
He was also a hardworking scholar in a private school in Muntinlupa.
About 4 mos ago, while training for futsal, Nash felt pain in his knee and leg.
The pain was too intense for him to continue training.
He was advised to go home as everyone thought it may be an injury and some rest would help.
After some time, a lump started to grow on his left lower leg (tibia) near his knee.
This caused Nash so much pain.
Walking and moving became very painful to him as the lump kept growing.
At first, it wasn't clear what was the cause of the lump and excruciating pain since no injury could be seen from his x-rays.
After many check-ups and tests with different doctors, Nash is now burdened with a medical condition called OSTEOSARCOMA - TUMOR.
He still needs to undergo some lab tests and different CT Scans to determine the kind of chemotherapy he needs to undergo.
It will be a long process for Nash but treatment needs to be started soon to prevent other complications and the cancer from spreading to other parts of his body.
Nash's parents do not have the financial capability for all these tests and treatments.
- His mother Grace is a pre-school teacher at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Sitio Sto Nino but stopped working to take care of Nash. He's no longer allowed to walk or stand on his own as his bones have become brittle due to illness.
- His father doesn't have a stable job.
- His older sister is the only bread winner at this point.
Nash is in grave need of your help.
He is currently staying at home and was advised to complete the tests and scans before the chemotherapy is started. These tests and scans, however, are no longer free and are not available even in PGH.
Nash and his family would be extremely grateful if you could open up your pure and kind heart, for any amount that you can spare them.
