Nanay Cristy’s GBS battle!

Hi everybody,

We are knocking into your good heart to help us raise funds for the medication and healing of our mother, Maria Divina Amedo who was diagnosed with a sickness called "Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS)" and also Pneumonia.

There's no cure for this syndrome but treatments can speed recovery and reduce the severity of the illness. Our nanay (mother) will do the Immunoglobin therapy and the cost ranges from $2,900 to $4,900 (Php 150,000 to Php 200,000) for every session. The therapy needs to be conducted for 5 days. The overall total for the therapy itself is $17,647 (Php 900,000).

The funds that will be raised will be used for her therapy and also payment for her other medications and hospital bills.

We are hoping to start her therapy this week to lessen the possibility of her having more paralyzed areas in her body.
