My Road to Kilimanjaro

Cancer Research has always been close to my heart and in particular now, as one of my dearest and beloved childhood friends lost her son to leukemia at the young age of 30 years old only a few months ago.

The funds raised will be split between two non-profit organizations.

The first one is Karaiskakio Foundation www.karaiskakio.org.cy which supports humanitarian and scientific fields in Cyprus and has evolved into an internationally recognised Bone Marrow Donors Registry. Their foremost objective is the constant and ongoing scientific support of patients with haematological malignancies and other related diseases.

The second one is Alkionides Charity www.alkionides.org.cy who support patients and families with medical expenses, accommodation costs, flights etc. when travelling abroad to receive treatment through the Ministry of Health. They also provide support and scholarships to students with low family income.

Hiking Kilimanjaro is certainly one of the most challenging goals I have set myself, and may I thank everyone in advance for your donations and for sending me constant words of encouragement!
