hi guys,

My name is Katie and i am 27 years old. I don't have a cancer or any terminal illness but i need help. I am not here to create any polemic, i am just here to get help from people who understand my condition and who will offer it without judging me.

there's been a huge polemic around the recent a medical "trend" called labiaplasty which is most of the time sadly done on women who think their genitals are not " normal" or looking like the porn actress they or their partner see in the medias.

i had large labia minora since my puberty and it always have been a sensitive topic for me. Let me quickly sum up without entering in the gross details: it hurts and i feel like a freak or a monster.

On top of the excrucuating daily pain, my few partners have made mean comments too and today, i am 27 and clearly unhappy.

I recently decided to see a doctor and see if i can end all this mental and physical suffering by getting an operation. The doctor i saw was wonderful and admitted that there was a medical need for this procedure so medicare will be paying for half of it( 2700$ out of 5330$) but i still have to pay 2630$ out of my pocket. I dont have a private health cover as i cant afford one (im studying and working 3 days a week which pays mostly for my rent and bills).

No one should feel this way ever and i would be grateful for ever if you could help me gather the money to get this life changing surgery and make peace with myself. I really want to insist on the fact that i am doinv this for my own self and for no one else. I am just sick of living with the permanent pain and discomfort that prevents me from enjoying the silliest things in life (riding a bike, wearing a bikini etc).
