I am Veronica Deni ay, daughter of Ninfa Vergara Cerna Deni ay and we are from Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. My mother is now 50 yrs old. She was very active in serving the church and she volunteers to help those people in need until three years ago, she was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease secondary to Chronic Glomerulonephritis or in general terms is known for CKD or Chronic Kidney Disease. Her case was a malfunction or failure of the kidney due to her hypertension. We are advised by doctors to have kidney transplant or choose to undergo hemodialysis session. And since that we can't really afford to have the operation for a transplant, we are left with no choice and my mother started to have dialysis sessions twice a week in order to survive. This situation is really a struggle for us because we are not financially stable because my mother is just a housewife and my father is just earning a little from his job which is also not stable. We are trying many ways just to raise funds to support her dialysis. Right now, my mother is still in end stage and continues to undergo dialysis sessions. We still have the desire for her to have a kidney transplant because this is the only way that her life will surely be extended without the pain of regularly having dialysis. But we still have not enough money for the operation and to look and pay for a kidney donor. For three years, we try to ask for help from different organizations just to sustain the dialysis sessions of my mother and for her medication. We already have many debts but we still strive hard each day just to see my mother live because we can also see that she still wants to live and serve as an inspiration also to others and serve the Lord. Our family is humbly asking for any amount to help sustain the dialysis sessions of my mother and as well as for us to prepare for her possible kidney transplant. This will be a really big help to extend her life and that she can still be with us longer. THANK YOU SO MUCH. And may the good Lord will bless you more.
