I’m writing this appeal on behalf of my mum, Priscilla “Precy” Sargeant. Her life has been one of sharing the joy and pain in her journey of fulfilling Godly mission in life here on earth.

She spent many years abroad, separated from her homeland and working as a nurse, sending financial and other support to her family and friends. This went on until the calling came to come home and nurse my grand mother, who had suffered a number of strokes.

So she came home for good with the godly husband God had given her, a minister of the Gospel.

Since she came home to the Philippines she has spent her time helping not only the family, but also the community where she worked as a voluntary social worker among the urban poor, especially helping children to find an education, and skills they needed for life.

She continued to nurse both my grandparents until they passed away, as well as being a mum and lola to my brothers, myself and our children. She also took the responsibility of raising my brother's children after he passed away in 2010.

All of this accumulated daily stress which has became chronic, and has given her health problems and now, at 69 years of age has started experiencing endometrial gynecological reproductive organ problems. About three years ago some abnormalities appeared during a check-up and her Gynecologist advised her to have a series of tests – but, being financially drained caused this to be postponed.

And while this was going on, she continued being busy nursing two senior sisters aged 85 and 83 who have been suffering their own physiological problems.

When she finally got the ultrasound, it showed a malignant cervical mass, and by using prayer and support from friends she has been fighting the cancer naturally. However, a second ultrasound a few months later showed the mass has increased in size.

Following this mum was confined at Richter Alternative Medicine clinic for 15 days for anti cancer IV and complete change of diet and in order to speed up the healing undergoing an intensive course therapy which has been highly recommended.

For these reasons I am asking for support for my mum:

1. Mission not over yet – Psalm 118:17. We still need her; my father still needs her; he grandchildren still need her.

2. She still has her two elderly sisters and a grandson (my late brother's son) to care for. No one else can or will do it and nobody else will be around to do what what she has been doing.

Appeal for support to finish the treatment and pay the bills.

3. In my 36 years, I have always seen my mum help people around her, sometimes even with envy. Now that she is in need of help, I pray that all her sacrifices will be rewarded in the for om financial assistance.

Recently she has been experiencing increasing problems in the lower abdominal region including frequent problems with urination and bowel movements, increased pain (often intense) when up and about, loss of weight, and fatigue.

Your help and prayers would greatly be appreciated and we'll definitely keep you all in our prayers.

Thank you.
