Campaign Story
I'm a 23-year-old daughter from the Philippines. Last Wednesday night, my 53-year-old mom had a stroke due to brain hemorrhage. Doctors said it's probably due to an aneurysm bursting due to her high blood pressure.
She's currently admitted at an intensive care unit at the hospital. The doctor says my mother has a chance, but that she'll need lots of time to recover (1-4 weeks estimated). Once her brain is no longer swelling as much, it will be safer to operate on her to "clip" the aneurysm and make sure it won't burst again.
One day at the ICU costs around 30,000 pesos. The operation will cost 200-300K. I've gotten a loan from the company I work for, my dad has Philhealth for my mom. But that's it. Please help my mom. Her name is Agnes, and she's confined at the Lung Center of the Philippines. It was the only hospital that could accommodate her that night. It's hard to find a hospital room when you don't have a health card or you don't already have a doctor in that hospital.
Please help us. Thank you very much. Any amount will be very helpful.
