My story has been a long road toward my goal to become a mother and start my family.

5 years ago I began IVF treatments. I was very hopeful and had no doubt that I would achieve this goal. I was pregnant in my 3rd cycle which ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks.

It was a difficult time and I had many complications which took my body almost a year to recover from, I was 41. Covid hit just months after my first miscarriage which shut down IVF treatments in the country for many more months. By the time I could start again, I was 42.

This time it was much harder for me to recover both physically and emotionally. It also came with many complications and only after 9 months could I start again. After a few more unsuccessful cycles and the last one which made 11 cycles - the embryos didn't survive to make it to the embryo transfer (and I had paid full price for this cycle as my insurance wouldn't cover an IVF treatment so close to my 45th birthday).

On advice from my doctors, egg donation is the best option for me. I can carry the baby, the child will inherit epigenetics from me and after this long and painful journey, I will hold my baby in my arms for the first time. Here is why I need your help:
