My dream needs your help!

Hi! My name is Dan Flores, I'm 21, and I'm an aspiring airline pilot. Unfortunately the only thing that hinders me from my dream is money. I have been fascinated by planes, actually the idea of flying, since I was young. Plus my need for adventure goes hand in hand with this dream of mine.

I come from a middle-class family in Manila, Philippines. I have 3 siblings, all female. My mother is 58 years old, an entrepreneur, and she manages the family business, which is hardware & construction supplies until now. My father is 57, and currently a project manager for a construction company. My parents have been struggling with money the past few years & I have tried ways to earn my own, none of which is enough to get me to at least 1/4 of flying school. I currently have a summer job, and I do some graphic designing when I'm not busy with school.

I know it may be quite impractical to donate to a total stranger, but I can assure you that your donation will be put to good use. I have many goals in life, and one of them is to start a scholarship program to help financially challenged people finish their education, but as of the moment, my goal is to finish flying school. As most of you may know, it is rather challenging to become a pilot due to the high amount of expenses needed to train. This is why I'm trying my luck here in gogetfunding.com, and hopefully my dream of becoming an airline pilot will come true!

I am currently in 3rd year college, taking up Aviation Electronics Technology in Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA). I plan to start flight training after I get my bachelors degree on March 2017. I know it's a bit far, but I need to secure my future as soon as possible because another goal of mine is to make enough money to support my parents, and give back to them. Let's all admit that we're not getting any younger, and I want to give my parents the best of the best as soon as possible!

I have inquired at numerous flying schools here in the Philippines (because I can't afford to fly outside the PH), and my best choice is Alpha Aviation Group, located at Clark, Pampanga. The cost to study to become an airline pilot is a heart-dropping 4.2 million pesos. This is without lodging, school materials, and regular expenses (e.g. Meals, Laundry, Transportation). No amount is too small & anything can help!
