My Children Need a Mother and a Father

Hi, I’m Malka.

After 15 years in an abusive marriage I am finally safe from the toxicity and pai I endured for years. I am now able to be the healthy, loving mom I wanted to be for my children for so long.

You see, for years my severe depression didn’t allow me to care for my children properly. With time, I understood that the depression was situational – to heal, I needed to leave. With that decision my upward journey to better mental health could begin.

My ex-husband is good father (despite his behavior to me), and I was not contesting 50% custody. But he is now claiming full, exclusive custody, cynically using my mental health struggles to prove I’m not fit to be a mother at all!

Because of that dark time, I could lose my children.

My friends and family can vouch that he is so wrong. But it’s not enough. I need a strong lawyer with experience in similar cases.

I’ll be straight. I can’t afford the legal fees. Neither can I afford to lose my children.

Asking for help is uncomfortable but my lives, the children I gave birth to, their lives, and our relationship are at stake here.

Turning to you is my last resort – I can’t risk losing them and not being able to say in that I tried everything.
