My Battle with Colon Cancer: Race Against Time

Now, it's my turn. I have cancer.

I started my fundraising campaign last 2021 with my wife having Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. We lost her fight and she passed away last October 2021.

Fighting cancer here in the Philippines means you have to spend all your money, and sell properties. I was there. Broke. Spent. I have to re-loan my salary just to get by with daily spending. Little by little, I was able to recover.

Months earlier, I did have stomach upset and discomfort, as usual, diagnosed with GERD. But then it did not respond to meds. Fast forward to July, I was admitted due to suspected acute appendicitis. But when surgeons check the area, they found out it is not just phlegmon. It's already a tumor. having almost depleted what was left of my savings, I prayed for a miracle. but then, last Saturday, we received the biopsy result. Its Colon Cancer Stage 3.

I am determined to fight and win this battle, for my kids. Pls. help me. I will be starting my Chemo on August 26, and it's quite an amount I have to prepare for 6 months of my therapy. Any amount will be appreciated. Thank you so much. God bless.
