Hello World!

My name is Maria and I'm 20 years old. Currently I'm living in Russia and studying at the State University of Architecture and Art.

Reasons why I'm asking for money:

It's been 2 years since I'd entered the University. Now I got to work hard because I have to pay for my education. Not so long ago I made a conclusion that I don't want to be an Architect. That is why there's no need working 24/7 for paying my checks for the education which I don't like. From my young years I've always been loving music: singing, playing piano and guitar, writing poems. Now there's no alternative for me: I want to be a professional musician. I still cannot fully understand how my life brang me to the way of being a student in the University and studying a discipline which is absolutely not for me. I always dreamed about living and working as a musician in the United States. A thing I need to reach this goal is to get musical educated. I'm dying to go to Los Angeles, Cali, and attend musical courses which, I'm convinced, I do need. After these courses I would still be hard-working and I would get a job. My family cannot give me so much money.The whole sum I need is 5200$. But I'm asking only for the money that people could give me.

Why USA?

My father lives in Miami. I haven't seen him for 5 years. Now he has a family and he doesn't really want to come back to his motherland, I suppose. He doesn't have the money that I need for studying, too.I could die to see my father again!

What is specail about me:

I finished a music school in 2014, so I have a diploma. I can play piano, guitar, synthesizer and harmonica a lilttle bit. I already have several demo and 1 completed song, which is actually my first song. I'm working on my demo recordings every night. Now it's only 2 finished tracks. They're on my SoundCloud account.

Regarding my English:

I'm a Russian, so English is my second language. I've been attending English classes for about 3 years. I have a certificate from Cambridge Assessment English, which I got in 2015, that confirms I have a B1 level. I'm sure today my English skills are more better.

What is more about my activities:

I have a pretty little collection of my drawings and paintings. Also, I like riding a horse. I'd been exercising it for 2 years.

What do I need money for:

There is a "Create Music Academy" in Los Angeles, California, which has a lot of music courses.

Cre8 Music Academy

One course costs 1500$, but all four courses are about 5200$. I think it won't be much useful to take 1 course. 1 course means 1 discipline about, for example, learning remixing and sampling.

Courses I need

As I'd already said I have a job. So I have some saved money. The Music Academy doesn't provide students with accommodation, that's why I could rent a room and pay for it. What I like about this Academy else is that international students can go to this program with tourist visa.

How soon I need the funds:

These courses start in summer. Approximately on June 10- June 20. But also I can take these courses in July or August. Therefore there's no certain date.

Academic Calendar

It would be great if I would get money by summer 2019'.

How appreciative I will be for people's help?

If I'll get any amount of money, I'll return 20% back. If I'll collect more than 5200$, I will give back the excess amount to my helpers.
