ISLA JOMALIG

The municipality of jomalig and its leaders is doing everything that they can to help the people but they can only do so much.

But the municipality is in so much worry as if there is anyone from the island who will be test as positive they're afraid that it may spread and may not be able to contain it.

The island only have a Rural Health Unit, which composed of 7 front liners A doctor, 2 midwifes and 4 nurses the one's who checked the Barangay's is what they called BHW or Barangay Health Worker's.

Above pictures is the Municipal Rural Health Unit which is the only medical facility which is understandable because it would be really hard to put up a hospital in such small island.

As you will noticed the gear that the front liners is wearing is for sure not going to be enough for them to be safe in case they treat a patient with COVID-19.

This place is not like most other cities, municipality that donations can easily be transported or donations can be reach. This is the main reason why I am doing this campaign.

Please HELP me, HELP them in this most difficult time. The money that will be accumulated will be used to buy foods, RICE mostly and proper suits for the front liners, medical supplies, masks and other necessities.

Poorest family here can barely afford to buy one (1kg) of rice. I know a lot of people is asking for donations right now but PLEASE if you could include and find in your good heart to help people of Jomalig to get through in this crisis will be very-very appreciated.

Thank you very much and God Bless us All.
