Mum’s eyesight

Just when everything seemed to start going more smoothly in our lives, I getting back to work, we learned that my mother, who turns 82 in a few weeks, has lost much of her eyesight. She can be helped by a medical procedure, but if we use the affordable public service she needs to wait for maybe another five or six months for her turn in the queue. Please help us to give Mum the best possible birthday present, and enable us to use a private clinic, where she could be operated already in a few weeks if we manage to gather about a half of the expenses (about 1500 euros after the national health care compensation). The operation would give her a a much better quality of life, and enable her to stay home longer. She is very dear to us, and we'd love to help her, yet we're still fighting our way through the debts which gathered during my long unemployment. We don't want to rely on charity - so, this is a promise: Anyone who wants to help, and donates, be it one euro or fifty or a hundred or more, will be repaid, not only by prayers, but eventually by money when we get a little more of solid ground under our feet finance-wise.   Too bad I don't have a photo of my mum on my computer or a camera at the moment, but I'd love to change the dusk-views into a day for her :-)
