MT. ELGON RUN FOR THE GIRL CHILD

Mt Elgon RUN FOR THE GIRL CHILD is a campaign to raise awareness of effects of FGM, earl marriage, teenage pregnancies and other forms of violations of the rights of the girl child. The campaign aims to raise funds to support survivors of these violations by taking them for counselling, medical expenses and paying school fees to those who dropped out of school due to one or combination of these vices. Mt Elgon has been the hardest hit area with cases of teenage pregnancies and hence leading to high rate of girls dropping out of school due to victimization.

We also promise to undertake the brilliant business ideas from these young mothers, train them on entrepreneurial skills and fund their business ideas. We call upon you to partner with us to give hope to these young bright girls in our society, and walk with us to realize this dream
