Moving my doggy to the other side of the world

I'm moving to England from New Zealand at the end of the year and I wish to take my baby with me. His name is Brady and he is almost 8 years old. He is a lovely boy, indeed his file at the vet states that Brady is the nicest Rotti the clinic has ever came across. Brady has arthritis and hip dysplasia but despite his age and his health conditions he is in a relatively good shape. He is 48kg and considered a large breed, which means he needs a large crate during his flight to England and that equals a high cost. In fact, his flight cost more than a business ticket from NZ to the UK, especially if I want to upgrade his crate size from the minimum requirement for his size and add a stop over where he can get out from the crate. I intend to add the extras as I believe it is cruel to have my baby or any other animal in a tiny crate for 30 hours.

He is leaving NZ on the 3rd of December. His crate has been delivered and training is going good.

So please help me get my boy to England - in somewhat comfortable conditions.
