There are a number of organizations in India that are running a number of projects fro the underprivileged in India. However, the sad fact is that most often than not NGO's and the government run projects for underprivileged and overlook the many other people who may need help. Nainital, at first look may look like a thriving town, however, if one were to take a closer look one would find that there are a number of women here who belong to middle class families yet they live a life of deprivation. A number of ladies here are single and many of them uneducated; however since they belong to the middle class help seems to evade them.

Trinity People's Welfare's project Mother's Smile was launched last year for all single women in Nainital irrespective of their caste, creed or any such factor. With the help of the local community and its members Trinity People's Welfare was able to procure a grinding machine for the purpose of grinding spices so that many such women could get help to earn a livelihood either by grinding spices or by selling them. This was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the women who are now looking forward to their new source of income which they could call their own.

However, due to lack of funds the installation of the grinder has been delayed. Furthermore the rising prices of the raw material and the rent costs are also posing a big challenge. Trinity People's Welfare requests people to come forward and contribute towards this noble cause so that this project could be started as soon as possible. Trinity People's Welfare only requires help for starting the project which once started would be self sustaining.
