Mother of Mercy Children Center

Mother of Mercy Educational Center was born after the deliberations of a few friends that came together and with a common goal and passion of giving back to the community. Father Paolino Twesigye Monda approached interested donors to assist his charity institution Watoto Wetu Centre; for Orphans and extremely poor children living in the nearby slum. As facilitators the donors, not only resolved to contribute to a worthy cause but decided to visit the facility located at Kariobangi North (Watoto Wetu).

They were shocked to find that on a less than an less than half an acre of land, Fr. Paolino Monda had squeezed and set up class rooms to accommodate the children he had. To date the facility accomodates more than 250 children from classes one to eight.
