Monthly treatment for Gurmeta, our Orange Cat

4 years ago, we found her in the parking lot. She was bleeding from her nose and couldn't breathe. Also, she was already missing an eye.

We took her to the vet and run extensive tests. We discovered she had mouth ulcers, otitis in both ears, severe allergies to food and air particles like pollen and, the most severe issue of all, kidney disease.

We understood that she could only be treated in a loving home so we took her to our nest. She had to go through major surgery to remove the majority of her teeth, so she could get rid of ulcerations.

Since 2019 she has been receiving full treatment for her kidney disease, we've been watching her diet and only feeding her hypoallergenic food and we were careful to always choose a home that was safe for her to live in, sheltered from triggering allergies (like pollen, dust, pollution).

In the meantime, she developed hypertension due to her kidney issues and she's now taking treatment for that as well.

She is a happy and loved cat and we are really lucky to have found her.

But, it has become increasingly hard to sustain her monthly treatment which costs almost 400 euros and we would appreciate any kind of support so that Gurmeta can be with us for as long as possible.
