Mom’s Medication Purposes

Hi to all. I am from Manila, Philippines

I'd like to seek help in our expenses especially with my mom's medication. She had a stroke way back in 2017 and was diagnosed after a few months with HEMI-CHOREA. A disorder wherein her brain nerve ends were damaged due to diabetes (high sugar). She has involuntary movements on her left legs and feet and with her tongue. Doctors said that we can make her comfortable but the movements may not be removed as brain nerves were damaged due to the stroke. With a lot of medications underway, trial and error were observed for the past 2 years and just last year, we got the right blend of medicines for her maintenance. Along with her maintenance and medications, she is also taking a medicine wherein the purpose of that is to prevent stroke from happening again. Her maintenance as well with Diabetes is also a big factor to her health.

Back in 2018, my dad (her husband) passed away due to cancer. It was a roller coaster encounter because back in 2017, my mom had a stroke, after hospitalization, my dad was confined and was diagnosed with cancer. They were alternately going in and out of the hospital at least 3 times for the whole year of 2017. My mom was sick not totally aware and didn't accepted right there and then that my dad (her husband) passed away already. After a few months, her mom passed away so it was really devastating for her. So I am their only child who only supports my mom every step of the way. I love my mom and I really need to get a helping hand out of our situation.

This 2021, I'm struggling to give my mom a comfortable life. As well as myself.. We are also currently renting and paying utility bills and these are additional to our expenses. As we have transferred to a nearer location to our other relatives if ever there will be emergency situations, she can be assisted immediately. Let us pray and hope that she will always be guided and safe all the time.

I am appealing to the warm hearted people who can help me and my mom. As my mom ages, I really like to give back the love and care that she had given me for the past 26 years.
