Mom’s fight against Brain Cancer (Glioblastoma)

This is our mom. She’s a hardworking nurse in Abu Dhabi for more than a decade. A loving mother who worked so hard, making sure she’d given me and my siblings a good life in the Philippines. After years of hardships, she was able to bring us to Abu Dhabi as part of her plan to build our lives together. Everything was falling into place until the most unfortunate thing happened. So suddenly, the strongest person I know had fallen ill, and watching it happen just breaks our world apart.

November of 2022, she was diagnosed with Grade IV Astrocytoma, a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumor. She underwent treatment and surgery, but the surgery and the tumor has left her unable to move the entire right side of her body, and unable to think and talk properly. She wishes to go back home to our country to rest and continue her treatments there, and we need every help that we can get to support this long fight against this disease.
