Mommy Edna’s Healing Fund

Most of you probably don't know yet but last June 7, 2018, a month ago now, our family was shaken to it's core as Mommy Edna was diagnosed by Stage 3 Breast Cancer, she's also suffering from Pneumonia and she also has diabetes. It was of course a shock but being the way Mommy is, she kept calm which made us all calm in a sense but we knew it was a battle that we are going to be fighting with her.

Chemotherapy was the choice given to us by the doctor, yet Mommy having seen cancer patients for so long now opted to choose the lesser taken route of herbal medicine/natural method, but we all know that organic medicines are as expensive (23,000 a month for her initial organic medicine/natural medicine alone plus daily organic food) - we are keeping our faith that this will heal her as she needed and as she believes so too.

Last week, Mommy was having trouble breathing and sleeping has now become a challenge. We took her to Quirino Memorial Medical Center and she was diagnosed of having wet lungs and decompensated heart failure. I wish I know more about this but Mommy does know more than we do. The doctor told us straight that keeping Mommy in a public hospital too will be of no help to her as her immune system is weaker than it had ever been -- and so we chose to take her home instead.

Our family has come to a decision to take her to Dra. Farrah Medical Center in Tarlac - she is our mother's herbal medicine doctor and this is where we'd like to ask and knock on your kind hearts as our family needs great financial support for my mother's medical needs, supplements and the procedures she will be undergoing to fight this ugly battle against her cancer and its complications. My Mommy is a very hard working mother to us, nurse to the hospital -- her big heart has given her strength to provide care service to patients and seeing her need the same thing now breaks our hearts.

However, we'd like to ask a simple request too, Mommy doesn't really want anybody to know about her condition now as she wouldn't want to bother people mostly close to her but in behalf of my siblings and the rest of our family we're taking this leap of faith to ask for help and keep it a secret too.

My mother is one of the strongest and faithful person I know and her resilience and faith in fighting this battle keeps us all hopeful and to see her hurt physically and within gives us more the most reason to ask for help and pray that we win the battle.
