I as founder of the social enterprise Mohalla Sakhi, set out to empower Home-Maker women of third world countries with its multi-faceted approach to expanding employment opportunities for women. In my opinion, Social enterprises offer a way for more women in rural areas to contribute to country’s growth and provide innovative, sustainable solutions to its long entrenched social problems. Indian women social entrepreneurs can make great strides in addressing social problems and bringing about transformational change.

I use to work on the existing infrastructure, plugging the gaps, providing time and innovative solutions to alleviate problems for Women & Child that exist at the grassroots level.
Mohalla Sakhi will work –

1. To build itself on the Indian heritage of quality craftsmanship, well-curated collections, authenticity and a unique design aesthetic for a delightful all-round customer experience.
2. To educate women about health and hygiene.
3. To ensure that even the poorest child from the slums can access the best possible opportunities in the world.
4. To start Mohalla Bank to ensure women savings and provide maximum possible financial benefits.
5. To start save water save life campaign at grass root level
6. To start save tree save life campaign at grass root level
7. To start Clean Energy Mission
8. To provide assistance & opportunities in employing less trained and fostering the underprivileged women.

To curve the curvature and basic working infrastructure for Mohalla Sakhi, there’s a lot of co-operation and
contribution is required. Startup cost estimation of Mohalla Sakhi is as follow:
1. Registration & Establishment (Fee and Consultancy)
a. For Trust Registration: INR 21,000.00
b. For the establishment of an NBFC INR 1,80,000.00
c. For the establishment of a Nidhi Company INR 25,000.00
[Note: All the three Institutional Infrastructure is required to execute the above ideology into reality]
2. Office and Office Infrastructure INR 5,50,000.00
3. Working Capital for Local Team-Infrastructure INR 16,50,000.00

Apart from the above urgently required contribution Mohalla Sakhi will have required a huge economical support
(Millions of fund is required to bring this into reality) to establish it’s centre at village level and thus You are
requested to contribute as maximum as you can in the name of Humanity, Human Right and Sustainable
Development to bring third world parallel to the Developed Global Society.

Mohalla Sakhi exemplifies the revolutionary potential of Women Social Enterprise Sector. Social enterprises already employ a larger proportion of women than their commercial counterparts. They also offer a model for gender-inclusive professional opportunities that not only employ women, but also challenge traditional understandings of the meaning and value of “women’s work.”
