The word “slum” is often used to describe informal settlements within cities that have inadequate housing and squalid, miserable living conditions. They are often overcrowded, with many people crammed into very small living spaces.
These settlements lack basic municipal services such as water, sanitation, waste collection, storm drainage, street lighting, paved sidewalks and roads for emergency access. Most also do not have easy access to schools, hospitals or public places for the community to gather. Many slums have been un-serviced and un-recognized for long periods, over 20 years to life in some cities.
Like all informal settlements, housing in slums is built on land that the occupant does not have a legal claim to and without any urban planning or adherence to zoning regulations. In addition, slums are often areas where many social indicators are on a downward slide; for example, crime and unemployment are on the rise.

As we all come out of our local Covid-19 restrictions, and we adapt to a new way of living... Please try and imagine what it has been like for those who were in desperate need before it began.
Our Modular Homes are self-sufficient, Solar Powered with Battery Storage, Independant Water and Septic Systems, Basic Furniture packs for 6 persons (1 x double bed, 1 x bunk bed, 1 x sofa/lounge/bed), 1 x fridge, 1 x front loader washing machine).
Combined with our Local Employment policies we are stimulating local economies by bringing new skills employment opportunities (Solar Panel Cleaning Companies, Handy Persons Contractors, Landscapers, Plumbers, Electricians, Modular Home Assembly Teams, and more.)
Without the additional help and support of people like you, the rollout of our life changing Modular Homes happens slower due to funding restrictions.
