Miracle for Nataska

Nataska Arysh Miracle Raymundo is a 9-month old baby girl with Biliary Atresia, and she needs our help.

When she was only 2 months old, jaundicing, or the yellowing of skin occured. All along the parents thought that exposing her to bright sunlight will help her skin color go back to normal.

When she was 4 months old, her tummy showed signs of bloating, and so she was brought to the hospital to get checked out. Ultrasound results revealed that her liver is normal however her gallbladder was contracted and her spleen is getting bigger for her age. Laboratory exams and blood tests also revealed that she has HEMOLYTIC ANEMIA.

When she turned 6 months old, she had unusual on-and-off episodes of fever and one day her thighs and feet slowly became swollen so she was rushed to PHILIPPINE CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER. The doctor diagnosed Nataska a.k.a. "NAM" with PORTAL HYPERTENSION SECONDARY TO BILIARY ATRESIA, and now needs to undergo liver transplant.

Right now, Nam, is admitted at PCMC undergoing proper healthcare, while she's waiting to get healthier enough to undergo transplant. As she has been admitted four times already, HMO won't cover her daily medicine needs anymore. This is where you can help them.
