Milo needs your help!

Milo is a 3 year old Portuguese podengo mix. Unfortunately Milo was diagnosed with a Liver shunt.

A liver shunt occurs when an abnormal connection persists or forms between the portal vein or one of its branches, and another vein, allowing blood to bypass or shunt around the liver. In the majority of cases, a liver shunt is caused by a birth defect called a congenital portosystemic shunt.

Milo is very important to his family and has helped his owner through tough and difficult times growing up, he is very loved by the community and we hope he will be back to his normal self in no time, with the help of treatments.

The cost of Milo's treatment is too expensive for his owner to handle considering she is off to University this coming September and doesn't have the funds to pay for all his treatments.

The funds would be used to pay for Milo's medication and treatment/surgery. The goal is to be reached in 30 days, to be able to pay for expenses.
