Microcredit for a refugee entrepreneur to support himself and employ others!

According to the Rambam, the highest form of charity is to help someone help themselves

This campaign seeks to support a refugee in Israel in raising funding for a working capital loan that he intends to pay back by the end of January with interest. The repaid funds will be donated to a charity/cause selected by the campaign donors.

The Need:

Yousif Abdalla has a registered company in Israel providing cleaning and paint services (contact us for company registration details if needed). He has been awarded a contract to do industrial cleaning for a new apartment block in Hod Hasharon. However, he lacks the necessary capital for buy the cleaning materials and paying his workers to reach his next pay slip (expected January 15th).

He has managed to start the job, working himself together with 3 additional employees and purchasing the initial supplies himself. He is now looking for support to get him through the next 2 weeks.

How you can help:

Often one of the biggest challenges facing marginalized groups is access to finance. Entrepreneurs from such backgrounds often lack the support from family, friends or financial institutions that could enable them to go after profitable opportunities.

By making even a small contribution to this campaign, you can help Yousif Abdalla to get over this period, and all donations will be repaid with 10% interest being paid by Yousif Abdalla towards the selected cause (Donors will be able to vote for a cause of their choice).
