Hi, I'm Michelle and I live in Rayong, Thailand. As in many countries, Thailand has a large population of cats and dogs living difficult lives on the streets so when a little hungry cat came meowing at my apartment door looking for food and love in May 2015, I decided to help her. Soon after, I started to feed other homeless cats and kittens living in the grounds of my apartment building and my first sterilization and daily feeding program began. Then in February 2017, I discovered a colony of twenty-five cats at the local temple in desperate need of help.
Every cat that comes into my care is sterilized but because the temple is a popular place to dump unwanted cats and kittens, the number of homeless cats I care for keeps growing. And so does the amount of money needed to care for them. Homeless cats need to be fed, sterilized, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given medical treatment when sick or injured. Depending on vet bills, $A5,000 will cover costs for four to five months.
This is an appeal to cat lovers everywhere to help me continue and expand the work I do to give homeless cats better lives. By helping me you help homeless cats live without hunger and pain, free female cats from the burden of motherhood on the streets, reduce the number of kittens born on the streets, help stop the spread of deadly and debilitating viruses, stop suffering through parasitic infections and give dumped kittens a chance of finding a forever home.
Please help me help as many homeless cats and kittens as I can by donating as much as you can.
