Mexico Mission Trip

Along with a team from my church, (Ni River Community Church) I will be going on a mission trip to San Luis del Colorado, Mexico.  We will be leaving on April 19th, 2014 and returning on April 26th, 2014.  

We are partnering with Eli House Mission, which is a home for street boys.  I know the Lord has a plan for us while we are there, and our scheduled plans can always changes, but as of right now we are going to be handing out rice and beans at the city dump, visiting an orphanage, prayer walks, VBS, light construction, and serving with their local church.  

Even though San Luis is only 3 miles over the border, they are in desperate need.  I am so excited that the Lord is using me and my awesome church family as a tool to spread is word, grace, and love to those we encounter.  

I pray that the Lord will bless you as you decide to bless me through your support; whether that is financially or in prayer, I cannot thank you enough.  Please pray for funding, that our hearts are prepared, and that the Lord would prepare the hearts of those we are going to encounter; for protection and that we would submitt to Him in all things, and trust that he has it all in his hands.  

The cost of the trip is $1,100 (including air fare), and I wait with anticipation to see how the Lord provides for myself, and the team as a whole.  This site is specifically set up to help me reach my goal of the $1,100.  

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I know that we are going there to help those in need, but ultimatley I know I will end up leaving more blessed and changed than I could every explain; through those we meet and the way we are used to bless them.
