Melita Football Academy

As you know, Melita FC is always striving to be among the top Nursery clubs on the island.

This requires a lot of investment, whether in human resources such as coaches and players, maintenance and upkeep of the premises and above all, capital projects to ensure that we maintain state-of-the-art facilities for the benefit of the children, players, parents, coaches and friends of the Club.

In fact, over the summer we have undertook some major invests at Melita:

1. The refurbishment of the bathrooms in the bar area to continue upgrading our facilities both on and off the pitch!

2. The upgrade the the 7-a-side football pitch with a new state-of-the-art UEFA approved artificial turf surface which is already being enjoyed by various Melita squads.

3. The resurfacing of the 11-a-side pitch (UEFA approved), in collaboration with MFA and central government.

This is a major project and although we managed to secure funding for most of the projects, we have encountered many issues which were beyond our control that have inflated our budget considerably.

For this reason, we are calling upon your generosity in terms of donations to see this project through so that we can offer the best facilities for the whole Melita FC family.
