Melisa is a fourth child in a big and loving Moldovan family. She was born in January 2013. At the age of 3 she started experiencing stomachache and discomfort, having trouble falling asleep, was often weak and unmotivated. She has been in and out of hospital until in 2019 she was finally diagnosed with kidney failure. Today she has stones in both kidneys and they keep forming and growing. The largest stone is 12 mm (0.5 ”) in diameter. This stone is located next to the urinary tract and can block it at any time, which will also greatly affect the kidneys. Because of these stones, she often is in unbearable pain, which is difficult to overcome even with the help of sleeping pills and pain relievers.

Melisa has been treated by multiple doctors in different clinics using all sorts of methods, but no one could figure the cause of her illness or the way to stop the formation of stones. Natural and therapeutic methods of treatment did not work, therefore, surgical intervention is necessary. Unfortunately, such an operation cannot be performed in our country, because hospitals do not have the necessary equipment and local doctors are not qualified enough nor have experience in such cases.

The clinic, which has small enough devices necessary for such surgeries on children under 14 years old, is located in Russia (address: 1st Uspenskoe highway, 111, Lapino, Moscow region, Russia, 143081).

Melissa can be relieved of these pains and these dangerous stones in a few days - This is what the doctors of this clinic said after Melisa’s parents contacted them and shared their story. There is hope for this little girl to be happy and healthy again.

Unfortunately, the parents do not have enough funds for the tests, surgery, hospitalization, travel and accommodation there for the time when Melissa is hospitalized. The surgery and hospitalization alone cost 5 thousand euros and to cover other expenses, tickets and accommodation they need more.

Victor, Melisa's father, is a demended and talented repairman and the only provider for his large family. For the past 5 years he has been spending the major part of his income on his little girl’s treatment. At some points of their life Victor and Natalia (mother) had to take bank loans to cover Melisa's medical expenses.

Despite their need and hardsips, I testify that I’ve never met people who are any more content and thankful than Victor and Natalia. And for the first time ever they are so desperate that they ask for help.

Please donate if you are willing to change Melisa’s life.

"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:40)
