Melania’s Birthday Fundraiser for Hospice Malta

Melania’s Birthday message "Giving is better than receiving, so for my 40th Birthday instead of gifts, I wish to give Hospice Malta a nice present. After experiencing my father's battle with an aggressive tumor, I can truly understand the valuable work done by all at Hospice. The new palliative care project , St. Michael's hospice is an asset to patients and their relatives - a place my family wished existed throughout my father's short lived battle."

Hospice Malta, a registered voluntary organisation with the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (VO/0062), was founded in 1989 with the aim to provide and promote the highest standards of Palliative care.

Throughout the year, over 1,300 patients and their families benefit from Hospice Malta palliative care service in the community. The service is provided by a multidisciplinary team of professionals with the support of over 200 volunteers, to patients suffering from cancer, motor neuron disease, cardiac, respiratory, renal and liver diseases.
