Medical Fund for Braces

Hello, my name is Nelina and I am 20 years old. For as long as I can remember, my smile has been my biggest insecurity. Throughout my life, my lower jaw never grew, making my upper jaw bigger. This caused many problems for me – both medical and psychological. I wore dental appliances for a long time – which ultimately did not aid my condition. It helped my teeth be a bit straighter, however my jaws never changed. In fact, the older I get, the worse it becomes. I’ve always been bullied by my peers and I’ve never enjoyed my own smile in the mirror – I’ve gotten used to hiding it, as often as possible. My depression and anxiety grew with years of belittling and humiliating. However, hating how I look is not my biggest concern – my overall health has been heavily impacted by this issue. I barely chew my food and when I do – it causes me great pain. My current dentist wants to remove a some of my teeth, in order for my jaw to start shifting into place. Unfortunately, this operation currently out of mine and my family’s financial capabilities. This is why I have created this crowdfunding page. I will be immensely grateful to receive your support in my journey to have a good smile and lead a normal, healthy life. Every cent helps. Thank you.
