Medical Expenses for my mother who suffered Stroke and Heart Enlargement

Hi I’m Juna T. Panizal a plain housewife with two kids married to a construction worker.My father was a farmer but due to his old age he can no longer work since he suffered mild stroke in 2011.At present, my parents are under my care making it difficult for me to earn extra income to provide for my mother’s medical expenses who suffered stroke.

I made this fundraising campaign for my mother’s medical expenses. My mother’s name is Virginia Panizal she is 64 years old.In April 2010 she suffered her 1^st stroke and stayed in the hospital for 1 month.Due to the large amount of medical expenses we sold our properties and left only with the house we are currently living in.After her stroke she became paralyzed and bed ridden from 2010 until now.For the last 9 years her medication and check up is costing much that at times we resort to borrowing money from relatives, friends and even from loan sharks for us to be able to provide her with the needed medication.

Unfortunately last Oct 2, 2019 she again suffered another stroke. We were able to bring her to the hospital and she stayed in the hospital for 15 days. Within these 15 days she underwent 3 CT scans, 2D Echo, ECG, Xrays and blood tests. Laboratories and examination done to her showed that she again suffered stroke and now has enlargement of the heart. Laboratory fee and medication for stroke patients are very expensive leaving us in greater financial difficulty.

After her release from the hospital she was given numerous kinds of medicines for her daily maintenance.

Her 1^st post check up is also scheduled on Oct 28, 2019 to go back to the hospital for another laboratory test and examination.We have to travel for 1 hour to reach the nearest hospital/laboratories and for her to be comfortable we need to rent jeepney (car) and the rental also cost much.

We are appealing for your help to be able to give my mother the medications, consultations and laboratory test that she needs in the coming days.
