Medical and Dialysis Cost (Kidney Failure) – Ramon Jarina Jr.

Hello everyone, this is my father - Ramon Jarina Jr., 63, and was diagnosed of Kidney failure.

Last December 29th, my father and her sister went to Ynares Memorial Hospital in Rizal for a check-up because of severe pain in his sides and back and also due to vomiting everything he eats. Later, after some tests, my aunt wasn't sure as well as to what is wrong, she told us that according to the hospital, they cannot provide the medication needed in his case and was transferred to East Avenue Medical Center. Also we got really worried because he no longer responds to us when talking and he seemed to be in his own world and just shouts when in pain. Later on, the doctor explained its because of his convulsion due to very low sodium. We spent days in the ER, they performed CT Scan and other tests and found out that infection already ate most of my father's right kidney and is starting to eat his left also. The Doctor advised he needs to undergo dialysis to remove wastes and filter his blood. It was January 1st when he was transferred to a permanent room from the ER and for three days now, he undergoes dialysis daily. Today, January 5th, his doctor told us they need to completely remove his right kidney as it's full of pus and is already rotten. The doctor is still monitoring his condition, but as early as now, we want to be prepared for whatever will come.

We are very blessed to have our church family, helping us in this endeavor as we face these dark days of our lives. They encourages us through prayer and reminds us that God will make a way. We are very open to any help and options we can get from others as well, as we are still unsure, we might need to undergo dialysis for a long time. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
